Not exactly. There was no award-- Barbara simply included Jane in a TV special about the 100 most interesting women, back in 1999. During that special program, Barbara interviewed and/or talked about a wide variety of women. It should be noted that when a TV interviewer talks to someone (or has them on a show), that does not mean the interviewer agrees with that person. Also, the show was about interesting and important women over the last 100 years; Jane Fonda had a very interesting career, and that is why she was one of the women Barbara Walters chose.
