She pinned him up to the mast, and kissed him, while doing so, she cuffed him to the mast. She escaped, leaving Jack for dead. Jack got out of the handcuffs, but the Kraken was on top of the boat by then, mouth open and spewing nasty snot-like stuff on him. His hat pops out, and he puts it on, and gets eaten. It was very sad, really.
