Yes, there were elevators on the Titanic. Not like the ones we know today though.
The Titanic had 4 elevators, 3 in first class and the other 1 in second class.A little-known fact reveals that there was also a lift for crew to use to transport food between the galley and the orlop deck at the bottom of the ship, where refrigerated items were held. It was able to stop at some decks in between, but was obviously not accessible to passengers. The main three elevators were located in the forward part of the ship (near the bow), these elevators serviced A Deck, B Deck, C Deck, & D Deck. The fourth elevator was located aft (near the stern of the ship). This elevator also serviced A Deck, B Deck, C Deck, & D Deck.4 in totala max of 4 elevators was on the Titanic
Titanic (and Olympic) had different kinds of elevators (lifts). According to Bill Sauder: There were two for passengers; two for mail/provisions; and three for food. The hoist between the galley and the Engineer's mess is mechanical, otherwise all are electrical.
There were 3 first class elevators located in the rear of the forward grand staircase, and 1 second class located in the middle of the second class stairs. There were no third class ones, and unless I'm mistaking, there were no crew ones (unless maybe dumbwaiters for the kitchens). 4 elevators in total.
4 dynamos were installed on the Titanic.
