Bjarni Herjólfsson was a Norse explorer and first European to visit mainland America. He first sighted the land in 986 while trying to reach Greenland. His ship went off track and he came within visual range of the land but decided not to visit. He however visited the land some time later. Unfortunately he did not maintain any record of his visit and was even admonished by King Eric for not investigating the potential of this new found land. It is therefore not possible to tell whether he saw or met any native Americans.
Bjarni Herjólfsson was a 10th century Norse explorer who is credited to be the first European to reach the present day North America. In 986 AD while trying to sail to Greenland to see his father he went off track and came within visual range of North American land but despite his pleading crew he did not stop over and after correcting his track he sailed to Greenland. He however, did visit the land after few years but failed to keep any records nor did he investigate the potential of the land for which he was criticized even by King Eric, ruler of Norway.

The only place astronauts have been other than Earth, is on the moon. When they were there, they did some exploring to see what it was like. They took samples of the soil and rocks to bring back to Earth. They tried to learn as much as they could while they were there. If astronauts get to visit other planets, they would do the same kinds of things.
1:science is all about finding out stuff ( like if a Orange floats with the skin on ). 2:science is exploring new thing 3:science is all about having fun 4:it helps children learn and dissecting a small animal (like a frog) 5:you can open up a heart and see what's inside
To whoever posted this question, in case you don't already know, Australlia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Sates are no longer colonies. They are now independent nations. As for Northern Ireland. it is no longer a colonie of the British Empire, it is a home nation of the United Kingdom (full name: United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland). So I hope that answers you're question. ?AnswerIn case you didn't know it, a colony is... 'an area of land in one country that people from another country settle in and control.' (Oxford Everyday Dictionary).I absolutely believe that todays colonies will be returned to the natives. Take the Roman Empire for example, it was a very powerful force. It conquered Europe and parts of Africa into submission. It colonised wherever it went. But visit Rome today and all you will see is ruins. Broken stones and crumbling remnants of past glories. The mighty empire of Rome no longer has colonies.Colonies never last. Just like the colonies of Rome that are now back with the original inhabitants, so too will Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, the US etc be given back to the natives in the future. Colonies are built on violence and injustice; they are undeniably temporary.'Colonisation, is always inhumane. It must ultimately amount to an encroachment on the rights of the original inhabitants in favour of the intruders. If this is unacceptable then one must oppose all colonisation, which at least would be the logical attitude.' (Theodor Leutwein).?AnswerI'm thinking the straight answer to the question is an unequivical No. ?AnswerYes, all colonies will be given back to the natives. Injustice never lasts forever. ?AnswerBut all that said it has to be borne in mind that for all its failings (& I accept the failings are numerous) the British have made a pretty good case for the Empire they once had. As Imperial Masters go the British have been as good as any in all time. that's not to say the natives are, or even should be, grateful. But as it says above: The answer is still No.... ?AnswerThere is no doubt about it; these colonies will be given back. The natives have had to endure the injustice of seeing foreigners gain control over their land. I am quite sure that if the roles were reversed the word "Injustice" would be echoed through the streets.
It might have been Bjarni Herjólfsson. Please see the link.

Natives use the blanket toss to enable hunters to see farther on the north slope and the ice where there are not many high vantage points. By tossing a hunter into the air the hunter can see farther when looking for game such as seals.
The white people use the glasses to see and talk the evil spirits.
If a body detective comes across a bunch of cones it means she is exploring the eye. In particular, the retina of the eye. Their function is to allow us to see in color.
