Both The Inventor and Edward were outsiders to our world, so I believe that the inventors crafting abilities were more god-like to our eyes than sewing together pieces of flesh can be (Frankenstein). Before his death the Inventor presented Edward his new hands. They were made of wax like substance, so its probable that Edward was completely made of this substance before being "animated" in some magical way.
Good question! The inventor created Edward to make a "Perfect gentlemen". Edward is created, so he is not human, but he takes the form of one and talks like one. The inventor I don't believe has a true meaning for making Edward, I think it was just to create a perfect gentlemen and to see if it was possible. If the inventor wouldn't have died, Edward would have been completed and have a good start in life. But since he (The inventor) died, Edward is confused and stays at the castle for the rest of his life without real hands. I hope I could answer your question!
Edward Scissorhands, E.T., The Elephant Man, and The Outsiders all explore themes of isolation, societal rejection, and the struggle for acceptance. Each story features characters who are marginalized or misunderstood due to their differences—be it physical, emotional, or social. These narratives highlight the importance of empathy and connection, ultimately revealing the human desire for belonging and love despite external appearances or circumstances.

Frankenstein wasn't a robot. He was a human, he was the scientist Albert Frankenstein who made the monster in the gothic novel, 'Frankenstein', the Modern Prometheus, by Mary Shelly.
The story of Frankenstein is basically about some mad scientist that is trying to make a human........ and so Frankenstein's monster was made.

I believe it is not to judge people. Edward was judged by stuff that he couldn't help but do, and people thought he was crazy, but really he had a heart of gold and wanted to help people as much as he can. Judging people is very easy for us to do, but maybe we should examine ourselves before judging others.
