Vlad the Impaler was a Transylvanian prince who killed his war prisoners by impaling them on stakes, a very slow and painful way to die. Some historians say that he dined among the pikes and bodies and some have gone so far as to say that he drank their blood. He was also the real-life model for Bram Stoker's legendary vampire character, Dracula. His full name was Vlad III Dracula, Drakulya, or Tepes, depending on who you ask.

∙ 12y agoThe oldest and closest friend of Vlad mentioned, though not very often was Ion Tremblac. It makes mention of them being friends even in childhood. They both ended up falling in love with the same women, Illona. However after Vlad "kills" her to keep from shame, (he doesn't really kill her, only he and a few others knows she is still alive, he sends her to monastery to be with his mother), Ion in a rage betrays Vlad to his enemy Mehmet believing that he has really killed the woman he loves.
