No one knows if they even will date. But in interviews, Laura marano (ally) and Ross lynch (Austin) said that tree will be romance in the next few episodes. I guess we'll have to wait and see!

∙ 11y agoFor now, they are in the friend zone, but howevver it has been discussed that most likely they will have feelings for eachother very soon. you never know :). ANd besides this always happens in shows, that best friends start dating. FE: Icarly, Hannah Montana, Zoey 101, etc. So since Austin & Ally is pretty much a new show, i am positive in like a few more seasons of the show, they will start to date. :)

∙ 11y agoYes, it is very likely. It is now however confirmed. The TV series are in their second season, and I don't think they'll be a couple in this one. They are only best friends for now. It'll be better if they start dating in season 3 or 4.
