Dalliance died as more of a greaser. Jonny, however, died more as both.
Pony and Johny get along well because they are about the same age, they stay together and they both have several things in common: they are both greasers and have both been jumped. They arnt typical greasers though and are quite quiet.

Neither was good, either way they both did bad. Either the socs were beating up greasers, getting drunk,or making fun of the greasers. Or the Greasers were Getting drunk, stealing, fighting, etc. ,, they both did wrong in the long run.

Johny Depp and Matt Damon are both very polite to fan's and generous tipper's.

Yes because during the burning of the church Windrixville, Johnny and Ponyboy jump into the burning church to save the little kids. They did this because they felt like it was their fault the church caught on fire. In the end, both characters are rushed to the hospital. Ponyboy is fine, but Johhny dies a few day later(sorry to ruin it!). Articles are printed in the paper and they are both known as "unlikely heroes" because of their good deed, even though they are greasers.
They are alike by many ways. One way is that they both are gangs. But that one i know.
Both are heRoes!!
Ponyboy finally gives the reason of societal expectations and stereotypes as the cause for the separation between the greasers and the socials. He explains that both groups feel pressured to conform to these expectations and, as a result, they are unable to bridge the gap that separates them.
The Socs and Greasers are the same because of their experiences. Well, not all of them but Socs have a life other than having money. They could be abused just as Johnny was. The thing is that both sides struggle. Really, Socs and Greasers don't know anything about each other, only hate. It follows what Cherry Valance had said "Things are rough all over."
