Yes. I've picked up a PS2 with a bundled Sing star pop and had no problems with the usb mics included. Now if they'd only release more songs for Rock Band without downloads I'd be happy --addition And you can play the head to head versions of the game using the mic's as long as you have 2 controllers plugged in.
I think that they do. Just try it. You have a 50 50 chance. It probably will work though.
No, there is no such thing as forwards compatibility in gaming systems. Actually, the instruments will all work, but the game won't. So, you can by the whole rock band 2 set, take the rock band 2 game to a place that gives you money or other games in exchange for the game. Then, go out and by rock band 1, just the game. Then you can play rock band 1 using the rock band 2's instruments. That's what my brother and i did.
Futureshop says yes but I tried on singstar amped to use my rock band mic and it says singstar usb converter not dected and won't let me move past that. so I'm gonna have to say no! --edit-- I have the SingStar Pop equipment. Dual Mic input USB module. As long as there are 2 controllers plugged in I can do tug of war or any other head to head using the mics.
No
You can't use the playstation 2 game Singstar on PC because the application is built to run in playstation format. But there is a PC game similar to Singstar called Ultrastar Deluxe (http://ultrastardx.sourceforge.net/).The Singstar USB mics (both the wired and wireless) will work on a PC - Windows 2000 and higher will auto-detect and install the correct drivers. However, you will need Windows 7 if you want to hear yourself through the speakers.
PlayStation Move can only work with games designed or modified so the Move controller can be at least an optional controller
Probably not, as Singstar is a Sony product and Rock Band is a EA product.
maybe. why dont you try it HAHAHA . smart thinking right
Yes they do, but you have to do some setting changes to get both of the mics work.
You can use the Xbox 360 headset, the Guitar Hero mic, or or Rock Band mic.

Of course! Did you know that guitar hero stuff can work on rock band and rock band instruments can work on guitar hero? Amazing huh?!
rock band 1 drums does work for rock band 2. guitar hero drums also work on the rock band games. ( the orange is a blue note )
I have the Wii versions of both games, and my instruments work fine with rock band 2.
The Guitar Hero guitar will work with Rock Band but the Rock Band guitar won't work with Guitar Hero. -Nate
