Do a Pokémon's ribbons transfer to its evolved form?

Yes, they do. A Pokemon's ribbons, stats, and accomplishments will stay with the Pokemon even if it evolves.

However, in Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver, Pokemon that participated in the Pokeathlon will lose their earned medals if they evolve. The medals are saved as "The Pokemon _____ earned this medal", so if you use another ______ to compete in the Pokeathlon, it will save that new earned medal with the previous ones.

For an example, let's say you have a Pikachu who won a Speed Medal, and a Jump medal. The game will save the data as, "[Player's] Pikachu have obtained the Speed Medal and Jump Medals." If you evolve Pikachu into a Raichu, it is no longer a Pikachu, so it doesn't have any medals.

Now, let's say you took a different Pikachu to compete in the Pokeathlon, and that Pikachu won a Skill Medal. Now, the game saves the data as, "[Player's] Pikachu have obtained the Speed, Jump, and Skill medals." even though it's a different Pikachu.
