Depending on what type of media it is, the answer may be different. if your talking about a celebrity or anyone for that matter, if their photo gets taken by the media, the media have rights to put that in newspapers magazines ect. Where-as if that photo was used without their permission for advertising (tv commercials ect.) that would then be illegal. if the photo is taken by the person in the photo and it is their own property, the media must then get permission to use, usually costing them. hope this helped! :)

I belive that mass media has affected our society both positively and negetively. It has programmed our thoughts, how we dress and how we relate to one another.Certain images shown on television influence kids to misbehave, disobeying parents under the impression that its cool.Disobediance leads to distruction, that leads to teenage pregnancy, drug abuse etc.On the other hand mass media can persuade young kids positively:if you tune to programmes that motivates positive force.

When, for example, a politician is assassinated, you will hear this immediately, so that you will know what is going on. Media keeps you informed. It also helps in other things like entertainment, gaining knowledge etc.
Niche media targets a specific audience segment with specialized content. Mass media reaches a wider audience through channels like television and newspapers. Addressable media delivers tailored messages to individual consumers based on their preferences and behaviors.
