In Episode 24, Light gets the death note back and recovers his memories. He then kills Higuchi making the Death Note his again. But the original owner of the death note at that moment is Rem, so he has to touch the piece of paper from the Misa's notebook to be able to see Ryuk. Ryuk stays Misa's shinigami until Mello kidnaps Sayu, then Light temporally returns one of his notebooks to Ryuk, sends it to the police, and when Soichiro dies, Light is again the owner of one of Ryuk's notebooks.

They're both good in their own ways, only I read the manga, I don't like anime. Soul Eater's more happy-then-killing and Death Note is funny-but-moar-violence. Soul Eater is drawn more child-like and Death Note isn't. Soul Eater is about people changing into weapons and collecting souls, and Death Note is about..notebooks killing people. xD It depends on what way you look at it. As I said, I like them both. [:
There are three "Death Note" live action films : 1)Death Note , 2)Death Note: The Last Name and 3) L: Change the World .

It can be found in many large book stores such as barnes and noble and also the chapters are online if you search. An example of a site is www.onemanga.com Just about any Borders will have it. If you'd like, a cheap way to buying it would be to go to amazon.com (note: type death note as two words for it to come up). Wasn't the second Death Note returned Death God that originally lost it. I forget his name, the one that liked chocolate.
