In breaking dawn Bella does not tell charlie about her being a vampire. Carlisle tells Charlie that Bella is very sick and she cant have any visitors, when Charlie does visit Bella he says she looks beautiful and he sees Renesme( her child ) and says she is more beautiful than Bella and Bella tells Charlie That she and Edward adopted her!
Not really, Jacob tells and shows Charlie that he is a werewolf (shape-shifter) and tells him that something is different with Bella too. He knows things aren't normal but he doesn't want to know a lot. Bella let's Charlie make his own assumptions.

By looking into Renesmee's chocolate brown eyes he realizes that Renesmee is actually Bella's child because he himself has those same colored irises and Bella (now a vampire) used to too.
