Common sense must tell you that everyone has parents (it's a biological requirement . . .). Crazy Horse was at first named "Curly" as a child, his mother was Rattling Blanket Woman and his father was the great warrior Crazy Horse.
When Curly grew older his father gave the boy his own name, taking the name "Worm" instead - passing on a name like this was a great honour and a way of remembering warriors of the past. Even women might take the name of a famous warrior who had died.
In Lakota, the name is Tashunka Witko.
The Black Hills of South Dakota is the location of the Crazy Horse Memorial, currently under construction.

With being related to Crazy Horse, I know some info on him. Crazy Horse's father was actually named Crazy Horse also. The Crazy Horse that we know was named after his father. Crazy Horse's Father (((Crazy Horse))) Was a medicine man in the tribe. I know him because he saved Penelope Stout, being a medicine man. Crazy Horse's father took in many different people from all over, because he was sure to cure them! I hope that helps!
