It wasn't a very hard decision for Bella to make in the choice of her actual true love. You see Bella loved both so dearly, so it's hard not to be with both. While Jacob is loved like a dear brother Edward is so much more.
Edward is the key to her existence without him life holds no meaning. Everyday empty every breath shallow. (NEW MOON SPOILER) And when Edward leaves to protect Bella from the danger she has come to realize she is dead. Not in the literal sense, although there isn't much difference.
While Edward is gone, Jacob can sew up the hole in her heart but when Edward returns it was like there was never a hold. Never a hurt, just perfection.
Now don't get me wrong. It is true that in a world without vampires and werewolves and real legend's Jacob and Bella would in fact be soul mates. But the world wasn't like that and Edward did exist
Edward is more than a soul mate. Both willing to give anything and everything. There other half's even without a soul. Death practically made an exception so they could be together. No just for life but forever.
In case you didn't get this I'll simplify it completely. Bella loves Jacob, but only as a brother. Even if it is strong.
She is still and will always be unconditionally and irrevocably in love with Edward.
In Eclipse, right before Jacob is about to go and let himself be killed in the war with the newborns, he tricks Bella into kissing him. During this kiss, she realizes she is in love with him. Also. It says it like this in the book, "I was in love with him. Too." Talking about Jacob. So, she is in love with both. So she thinks. BREAKING DAWN SPOILER In Breaking Dawn, she realizes that it wasn't that she was in love with him. It was Renesmee in her all along. Jacob also realizes that while Bella is being turned into a vampire and he officially imprints on Renesmee. But in Eclipse, Bella kisses Jacob and realises that she loves him more than Edward.
I will get to the point, Bella loves Jacob more....and so do I!!!

i feel exactly the same way she always always always loved edward more its just in new moon she needed someone to fill that void but in eclipse when she "loves" Jacob she juist thinks she does but it is actually renesmee. i love edward more to!!!!!! Jacob makes me sick. and edward and Bella are gonna be together forever they are 2 halves of a hole and with out the other they would be "dead".

∙ 13y agoThat question is subjective; it is really a matter of opinion. However, at the end of Breaking Dawn, when Edward is finally able to glimpse inside Bella's mind, Bella says that he now knows that "no-one's ever loved anyone as much as I love you." Edward replies to this- "You're almost right...I know of just one exception." Bella responds by saying that he is a liar, which leads one to assume that he is implying that he loves her more than she loves him. Bella's response shows that the love between them is equal.
I think Edward loves Bella a bit more, I've read the draft of midnight sun and it seems like it.
There love is equal it seems like edward loves her more but its equal

∙ 12y agohonestly in my opinoun, there was a little love, but it was mostly lust all she would ever talk about is how beautiful edward was; his perfection that is what she loved most and the only reason edwrad noticed is because he couldn't read her mind and her blood brought him to her; again he just wanted her didnt love her Jacob and Bella there was a little lust but was MAINLY LOVE Jacob and Bella would talk about how much they loved each others personalities an the way they acted Bella liked Jacobs muscles and Jacob thought Bella was sexy but still they loved each other
in new moon when she just got edward back (at the very end of the book) Jacob comes to talk to them she was going to leave Edwards side and go and hug Jacob WHEN SHE JUST GOT EDWARD BACK and then when she was a vampire in breaking dawn SHE WOULD STILL PICK JACOB OVER EDWARD AND HIS FAMILY SOMETIMES that rigth there shows that she loved him AND THEN renesmme loved Jacob and Bella evenly and more than edward so in reality its almost like it was a Jacob-Bella-renesmme family in the end SO I AM HAPPY

Will there will be an imprint in breaking dawn part 1?
Jacob imprints on Bella and Edward's daughter, Renesmee. Imprinting means that Jacob is now "tied" to Renesmee; in other words, he is in love with her. Even though she is so much younger, he now feels like her big brother and when she's his age, they'll be in love. Jacob is dedicated strongly to Renesmee, and it's just a "wolf thing" that can't be controlled. Jacob did not choose to imprint on Renesmee, it just happened.
Do Edward Cullen and Bella Swan break-up in Breaking Dawn?

Yes, she loves Jacob... but she was only confused about her feelings. in new moon, she only loved him as a friend. but in eclipse, when Jacob and her were kissing she realized she was actually in love with him, too... but not as much as she loved edward tho, obviously. and in breaking dawn Jacob imprints on Renesmee, edward and Bella's daughter. soo everything worked out in the last book.
Does the Cullen family get mad at Jacob and renesmee love?
We never hear the views of any of the Cullen Family except Edward and Bella's views. The married couple do get mad about Jacob and Renesmee- Bella nearly kills Jacob in her fury, while Edwards bares his because he owes Jacob for helping Bella and saving her life. But after Bella realises how much her daughter loves Jacob, she doesn't protest, but does get annoyed with him on several occasions. Although, when Bella thinks that Edward and herself will die in a battle with the Volturi, she counts on Renesmee and Jacob's love and Jacob to protect her daughter- this leaves her content with their love and with no problem by the end of the book.
