Well, at 18 the girl is legally an adult. As such, any rent or other payment requested would really be her responsibility. If she wants to live outside the house, she has to be ready to support herself. On an ethical level, you might find it appropriate to offer some kind of financial contribution, but it's not an obligation. * In addition, if there is a standing order of child support the obligated parent needs to have the matter addressed by the court and should not arbitrarily cease any scheduled payments.
