You are correct. There was a tv program that might be classified as a Spanish language ( Seasame Street). I believe it was called Carrascolendas My Spanish is not very good, but seem to recall the title. More of a soap Opera than Sesame, it used Live actors-as I recall and even some Gauche if plausible plots about, for example a Dog being hit by a car. as stated, was more soap-opera than brightside/happy go lucky which is often carried too far- making slapstick out of things that are not, in real life, funny.,
