I don"t know about this its a delightful , humanized idea even if physically impossible. It sounds like maybe a hallmark production. There was a cartoon film-actually using 3-d animation if one recalls correctly, The Night The Animals Talked, this was written by GianCarlo Menotti (who also composed Amahl and the Night Visitors)sometie ms referred to as the first TV opera. This of course took place in Biblical times. with the exception of certain avian mimics: Parrots, Mynah Birds, and yes, Mrl. Poe, Crow-like birds-Crows, ravens, magpies, no animals can talk and The Bible does not attempt to substantiate this as even a (Night dream) The story line sounds llike fun howver, if it was set in Russia a neat inter-specific peace angle coud be worked in The Czarina of the Taiga, visits the real Girl Czarina! Growwlll! Your Highness!

the name of the movie you are looking for is "The Tiny Tree", take a look on YouTube if you have any doubts, but that is the one. I was also looking for the Christmas cartoon where the tree "whispered" to the animals by shaking it's branches. Sweet story.

Should Catholics decorate with Santa and elves at Christmas?

Catholics are free to decorate however they like during Christmas, remembering that "Santa" is actually a Catholic Saint - Saint Nicholas, who feast day is on 6 December. Biggest single thing, personally, I think that Catholics should remember is that this is primarily the coming of God into the world, we should be preparing more for Christmas by penance and confession so that when the joy of Christmas actually arrives, we may celebrate the entire SEASON of Christmas the way it should be, and not return to the mundane world on St. Stephen's Day. Christmas DAY is actually celebrated in the Church for eight full days!

What do Christmas lights normally cost?

The price of Christmas lights differentiate depending on the length, color, and brand. There should be really cheap ones from Wal-Mart that obviously would not be able to light up your entire house, but is good enough to decorate a small portion like a window. However, remember, the cheaper it is, the higher the chance that it would not last for the next Christmas.

What does the Christmas tradition celebrate?

It celebrates the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. It's also when everybody gets presents under a Christmas that they buy and decorate it. They put lights outside their house and inside their house also. SO, basically it's when we remember the day our Lord and Savior was born and we get presents on December 25th! =D
