What happened to Dianne is debatable, but according to a bonus feature of the DVD, she climbed a tree after leaving the pub because she knew she'd be turned into a zombie. She passed out due to being "overwhelmed by the emotion of the moment". When she came round, the pub had burnt down and the area was completely deserted.
She stayed in the tree for several days to ensure that everything was safe, and survived on David's leg (she used it as a weapon when she left the pub). She climbed down after those days, and discovered the area was quarantined and everything was back to normal.
Everyone else either dies or gets turned into a zombie.

- he survives but is a zombie as he is infected by pete and at the end of the movie you see him playing the games console.
