Does nial die in hollyoaks

Niall does not die in Hollyoaks in the explosion it seems like he died because the statue fell on him but when the ambulance doors close at the end then you can see him through the door windows. Niall dies in Hollyoaks Later when he commits suicide and falls of the cliff.
