Orochimaru is killed in a weakened state, in the hands of Sasuke. Along the line, Sasuke (stupidly) keeps Kabuto alive, which was a grave mistake, as Kabuto managed to fuse himself with Orochimaru and now he is running a full-blown war with the United Five Nations with "Madara" (who can no longer be validly known as Madara, as Madara is dead and revived as part of the Resurrection jutsu). In a nutshell, Orochimaru lives within Kabuto like Lord Voldemort lived within Harry Potter. Feel free to shudder.

∙ 12y agoSaskue kills him on the day he was supposed to take over saskue's body and absorbed his powers. but when Saskue faught Itachi orochimaru came back through saskue's cursed seal but Itachi sealed him with a special sword.

∙ 11y agoOrochimaru didn't died we thought he died but he is tricky one. so whenever he puts that cursed seal on anyone part of his chkra will remain within that person.
Itachi removed that seal from Sasuke and didn't let Oruchimaru out he sealed him with Susanoo's sword. only person has the curse now is Anko so Kabuto took her so he could use her chkra to help him self with creepy things he does and after that maybe he will revive Orochimaru. in latest manga Sasuke removed the seal from Anko and let Orochimaru out coz he needs to know about some facts and he thinks only Orochimaru knows that.
