While the first part of the question is possible that Vanna White diid ask for more money the second part did not ever happen because Vanna has not missed any shows so she could not come back from something she did not leave. You also can not threaten to replace someone unless they are still working for you. Vanna is credited with being one of the reasons for the shows Hugh success, but many other people are needed to put such a sucessful show together. I'm sure that Vanna has an agent who job it is to get her the best contract he can and that Vanna does not have to involve herself until it is time to sign a new contract.
