Except for the obvious nautical disaster, and some shocking crowd scenes, there is or was nothing objectionable in the seminal Titanic film- A Night To Remember based broadly on the book by Walter Lord. This has been rerun on old-style TV. Theer was also a film called, obviously (Titanic) made in the fifties or early sixties, both wisely adjered to the known facts, did not change names of ships or crew. So you have a cleaned up (Distilled Water) Titanic, watch those ballast tanks! Really there was no reason for the scene where the lead male character and the Girl are (Horsing around) In an antique auto. If the guy is supposed to be an impoverished artist-The (Jack Davis) character, hey, cars cost money! especially what appeared to be (in brief shots) a Mercedes-Benz. Interesting!
