They tracked each other down to a dance and danced with each other and had a one night stand. House never contacted Cuddy again because he got expelled from the college for cheating. Although he mentioned that he was going to go see her to find out where things would go from there but he didnt see any point. (Season 6, Known Unkowns)
They reunited almost 20 years after when House went to Princeton Plainsboro for his infarction in his leg. He started working there and....

And tries to make her life a living hell
But although they show that they despise each other deep down they have a loving relationship because of their past. Cuddy needs House as much as he needs her and i believe that is why she never fired him before.
