Barbie movies are actually created for children aged 4 to 7. However, you can still enjoy them. Instead of trying to convince them that they are not babyish, tell them that you understand the movies are for younger kids, but you still enjoy them. Let them know the things you enjoy about them, and maybe some of the messages that could be aimed towards older viewers.
