You cannot. The US Passport Office has regulations against issuing passports to minors without BOTH parents consent. The reason for this is to prevent one parent from leaving the country with the child against the wishes, and without the permission, of the other parent. Contact your installations legal affairs office for further information.

Who inherits in an intestate estate in South Africa?

It depends. If the deceased had a spouse (or if he was in a polygamous marriage) but if he had no descendants, the spouse (or spouses) will inherit the estate. If there are only descendants but no spouses, then it will be they who inherit the estate. In case there are both spouse(s) and descendants, the spouse will receive R125 000 and the balance will go to the children. Also, if there are neither descendants nor spouses, the parents (or one parent and the other descendants of that parent) will split the estate equally.

How do you go about Step parent adoption in pa?

If you can have the biological father voluntarily sign a consent to the adoption and termination of his rights, this is helpful. Otherwise, you would need to file a petition with the Orphans Court in your county for an involuntary termination of the biological father's rights based on the PA code (reasons can be no contact, no support, etc.). Best to consult an attorney for the filing of the paperwork. You and your spouse (step-parent) will be subject to a federal background check.

Can the non custodail parent pay less if the custodial parent remarries?

Probably not, unless there is an additional change in circumstance. Child support is generally based on a formula that takes into account things like income (or income earning potential), health insurance, child care and other expenses. The income of the new spouse is not one of the factors in this calculation. However, support of another minor child is, so if the custodial parent has another child in that marriage, that may affect the calculation. You'll need to check the laws in your state but in most states the spouse's income is not factored in unless the custodial/non custodial parent is living solely off of his/her spouse's income.
