How can you beat Cynthia on Pokemon Platinum?

You train your Pokemon until it's a high enough level that it can take on Cynthia and defeat her. There's no trick to it. =]

If I were you I would get your team to the 60's.Id go closer to the 70s. Then itlll be a snap. 80s even better i took it on with Pokemon in the 80s and one at lvl 100. it was easy

ok totally not because I killed cythia when I had 2 lvl 45,1lvl 49,2 lvl 47, and 1 lvl 46 lol I owned her but mostly I used revival herbs and lots of potion

I beat Cynthia with Pokemon below lvl 60. My highest lvled Pokemon was 57 I think, and the others were like 51, 48, 49, 50, 50. I just use revives, full restores, and strategy. Use the Pokemon that has the biggest advantage against the other. And it should work, also if you have a really hard time use the stall then struggle strategy which is where you use your people that has the highest health and/or defense, and let the other Pokemon just keep using its moves and wasting it's PP which will soon lead to struggle. Which is a move that has a big recoil. My Pokemon were Infernape, Garchomp, Gyarados, Leafeon, Luxray, and Staraptor btw.

I beat Cynthia with a Lv 100 Regigigas and a Lv 77 Infernape in fact i beat her with a whole team of six ( to be honest i only had to use my Regigas and i thrased her :)

a good way is to train a empoleon and a staraptor and you should be able to beat her.

U r so wrong all you need to do is get all different types of Pokemon and level them up at victory road or some other place with high lv Pokemon mainly u want dark, electric, fighting, fire. those should be the types you need to beat Cynthia easily ( well not really easy but sorta easy ).

She has a Spiritomb lv.75, Milotic lv.75, Braivary lv.75, Electross lv.75, Garchomp lv. 77, and a lucario lv.75. Spiritomb is a ghost type so you need a strong dark type that knows crunch. Milotic is a water type. You need a electr type or a grass pokemon. Braivary is weak against electr, rock, and fighting. Electross is weak against Rock and ground. Garchomp is weak against dragon type pokemon. And Lucario is weak against fire and fighting type pokemon.
