yes, you can download games for PS2, you just need to get you PS2 Chipped (local electrical people can normally do it.) so it can read the burnt disks. the USB ports are for things like the eyetoy, keyboard, and u can get usb controllers.

You can download ROMS from any good website, except I don't know what format to put it into in order to play it.
There are also emulating programs to play the roms on your computer, but yeah, I don't know how to play them on the Playstation...

First you need the system updated to be able to go to the Playstation Store and you need to have an account. Demos you do not have to pay for so it is not necessary to have money in your wallet. Of course you needed an internet connection and then at the Playstation store just pick a PSP game demo and you will be able to download it.
