How can you go to the valor lakefront?

Team Galactic will set off a bomb at the lake after you have experienced atleast 89% of the game, and then the lakefront will be opened. Afterwards, you should go inside, use surf to get to the cavern, and battle Saturn.

First you go to twinleaf town then you go north take a left at the part where you can either go to sand gem town or valor lakefront then u go north again through the part where there is no trees and then if u go up u will see the lake

-go to the lake

able for all 3 lakes..

- use surf and surf across, up, and vise versa

- you should find land.

After you beat the 6th Gym Leader, Byron, your Rival will escort you to the Canalave library and Proffesor Rowan will talk to you on the highest floor then eventually, he tells you that you need to go to Valor to check out some explosion by Team Galactic. The two research dudes will not be there like they were before, but their won't be any water in Valor until later, since Team Galactic blew up the lake.
