John Hancock was a Christian and belonged to the Congregationalist Church, which is a Protestant type religion and they believe that The Bible is sufficient in ruling their society "in matters of faith and practice". His father was a Congregationalist preacher.
As John Hancock wrote part of the Articles of Confederation, he felt strongly about the need for independence and freedom. He became a president of the Congress to petition the king of Britain. When that failed, John Hancock began creating the Articles of Confederation, which stated that the colonists would break away from British rule and create a new nation.
he did not believe in slarery just as most of the others on the congress did. he thought that slavery was a nuisance and was not appropriate...
John Hancock knew that the Declaration of Independence would anger the king of England. He made sure the king knew who signed it when he signed his name in very large letters.
he believed that the colonies should be independent from great Britain
they believed they were weak and ineffective
He disapproved it.
Signer of the Declaration of Independence who was also a wealthy Massachusetts merchant who liked to defy the British authorities. He was also president of the Continental Congress and governor of Massachusetts. His main contribution, however, to the American Revolution was using his fortune to help finance the struggle. Americans are proud of him.
John Hancock was pretty stuck up but was devoted to the cause of becoming free from Britian. John Hancock had a great love for popularity and had lots of money so i would only assume he loved his fame and fortune too. Hoped that helped!

The Declaration of Independence was written during the summer of 1776. The Constitution of the United States of America was written during the summer of 1787. If my math is correct, then eleven years passed between the writing of the Declaration of Independence and the writing of the Constitution of the United States of America. They claim independence from England because they didn't feel as they have been treated as legal colonies. The British Parliament took advantage of the colonies and taxed them overzealously, and the colonists were not willing to stand for such practices any longer.
