Hello, in the movie we're told young people are more sensitive to paranormal entities than adults. I think she can see Tobi because of this sensitivity and perhaps also because of the connexion they're about to have (at the end of the movie).
Dj
Tobi is the ghost that bugs the family. Katie can see him, but no one else i guess. Because at the end, she says to tobi to come and the camera screw up and stuff.
yes, especially when stoned, re: scooby doo.
Paranormal Activity was one of the first films to capitalize on the "found footage" genre. Much like the Blair Witch Project, which was also very successful, Paranormal Activity is filmed to look like a home video. This led to many people believing that it was actually true. Because of this fact, people flocked to the theaters to see it. The director decided to dedicate the movie to Micah and Katie to give it even more of a sense of realism. The marketing tricks worked. The movie only cost $15,000 to make, but has grossed more than $100 million so far!
A sign of paranormal activity is when you hear strange noises or see something unexplained that might be that you have a ghost or demon in your home or anywhere.
No. Actually you're more liable to see things when you're younger

You can either scare the **** out of yourself by worrying about it, or realise that paranormal activity isn't real.

In the alternate ending of the movie, Katie stays in the bedroom in a trance-like state for hours after killing Micah until the police show up. When they show up, they end up shooting Katie when they think she is going to attack them. You can see this ending on YouTube.
Yes. The main guy is Dennis (played by Chris Smith). He is the boyfriend of Katie and Kristi's mother. He plays a photographer, and has an assistant Randy (Dustin Ingram) who you see throughout the movie.
