Napoleon was legendary for being fearless in battle. When fighting, he'd get right into the muck of it, riding his horse and jumping over explosives. He was once stabbed in the thigh, and another time had to ride his horse over the top of an explosive to keep himself from being killed. Unfortunately the horse was killed instantly.

He was a top military strategist as well. He used new thinking with the placement of his troops, which made him so successful. He was also known to take half hour naps in the middle of battles, then would wake up and give more orders.
