German farmers came together in the area and built a rail line depot as a train stop for this farming community for then the rail line ran from north to south taking a turn down going west on whats now called Gulf Bank Road going west and connecting up with the Montgomery line which went into modern day Houston. The women in the community came together and cooked food for the travelers who wish to get something to dine and use the necessities when the train stopped at this depot, and the residents not under standing English too well would hear the conductor say, anyone who wants to eat lets all dine anyone who wants to eat lets all dine, and not understanding what he said a depot sign was erected in both directions misspelled as Al Dine. As the community grew later through the years more farms sprung up through out the area the US Postal delivery became more frequent a route was formed by US Post Office crossing through farmers land to deliver a mail quicker more efficient an official mail route was formed and later this route used to deliver the mail between communities and when the automobile replaced the horse and wagon roads and streets where built to accommodate vehicles roads had to be named in order to find ones way this particular road was named Aldine Mail Route named after the community it crossed.
