If you are referring to "Jack Dawson" from the 1997 movie Titanic, I am sad to inform you that "Jack" was a fictional character. (As was Rose)
However, some of the characters depicted were actual passengers on the trip. Among them were John Jacob Astor (played by Eric Braeden), Margaret "Molly" Brown (played by Kathy Bates), Thomas Andrew (played by Victor Garber), Bruce Ismay (played by Jonathan Hyde) and of course Captain Edward John Smith (played by Bernard Hill).
This, of course, is not an exhaustive list, but gives the general idea.
Jack Dolsen died, but Leonardo DiCaprio hasn't.
After Titanic's collision, when the last lifeboat left, roughly 1.500 people knew they were going to die.
