If it had not been for theses Rebellions the CPR would not have been made. You see Mc' Donald told the government that war was starting in the north. He said the CPR had to be build to get the troops there faster. Of course, they fell for it and the CPR was made! Most of us volunteer or may teach as a part of a job function. Some people are paid a stipend to teach a class (very little money). I do not believe you would be able to find a full time job teaching CPR. actually there are plenty of people who get paid for teaching CPR and can do so on a daily basis depending on the area. certified CPR instructors make $20 - $40/hr.

People who normally perform CPR are EMT's. It is possible to be trained in First Aid and CPR for a fee if you are not an EMT.
It only takes 1 person to perform CPR. An advanced CPR course can be taken to train you on 2-person CPR, which makes it easier and more productive than 1 person CPR.
I think there would still have been a CPR but it would have taken many more years to build since there were no Chinese who were willing to do hard dangerous work for less than half of what canadains were being paid.
Ideally there would be two people in an office of 13 that would know CPR; but this is not a requirement.
