The two primary causes of death in the sinking of the Titanic were drowning and hypothermia. The latter was far and away the major cause of death. Many of those who didn't get into lifeboats were alive when they went into the water. But the water was so cold that they could not survive very long after being immersed.
Those people that were left in the ship died because different reasons.
1) they freeze.
2) they hited with something when the water comed in.
3) they weren't able to escape from the ship (drowned).
4) they didn't had their life jackets on: they didn't know how to swim or they got tired.
there was another "titanic" version of the ship but there was something in the armour of the ship or the outside of the ship that if they didnt fix it would sink on its first voyage so then they did the same thing to the other titanic (the real one) but when they launched both ships both of them sunk one i dont know what happened to (look it up) and the real on had gotten hit by an iceburg which caused the loos plate to move (a bolt was loos) which caused it to wrip of the amour plating or outside and the water had breached the ship and it was the end there.
Most people died from hypothermia---a life-threatening drop in body temperature-- because the air temperature and the water was so cold, e.g. their low core temperature made their hearts stop beating as they slowly froze to death. Others drown before hypothermia developed. Others died from trauma as the boat tore apart or when they jumped into the water.
And many crewmen were trapped below deck where they drowned, or they heroically and purposely stayed below to stoke the fires so the ship would have electrical lights and power for as long as possible. The movie Titanic showed at least one crewmen killing himself but that may have not been based in fact.
Some causes of death on Titanic would include hypothermia/exposure, drowning, pressurization, and blunt impact.
If the titanic would've went head on with the iceberg it wouldn't have caused as much damage and wouldn't of sank. The steers men where panicking and turned
Most of the people that died on Titanic had shock and hypothermia from the cold Atlantic water and were likely dead by about fifteen minutes.
