By the late 1800s, more and more people including farmers begun to move to large, crowded industrial cities to find better jobs. Larger, faster, stronger, and more efficient transportations like trains invented in the early 1860s replaced oxen and horse wagons. More and more immigrants started to move to America, like chinese immigrants to the west coast of san francisco to the european immigrants to the east coast of new york. But these new immigrants were facing new problems like hard working labors with low pays of 1 dollar to 4 dollars a day. Cities were growing larger and larger as new immigrants moved to america by 1880.
