Economical: DIAMONDS AND GOLD WERE FOUND, WHICH ARE NOW ONE OF THE BIGGEST EXPORTS IN SA.

Cultural: THERE ARE 11 OFFICIAL LANGUAGES, BUT THE MAIN TWO ARE ENGLISH (BECAUSE OF THE COLONIZATION OF THE BRITISH, AND AFRIKAANS( A MIXTURE OF DUTCH AND ZULU.)
Political: THERE ARE TWO DUTCH AREAS CALL THE ORANGE FREE STATE AND THE TRANSVAAL
