By 22nd June 1941 the USSR had

316 divisions

So in 2 1/4 Years the Soviets increased it army size by 44%

Also during this period, the USSR built More defences and by February 1941, The USSR Sent Infantry and Armed vehicles. they also sent more for reinforcement in the Following month.

The USSR Was hoping that Germany would try to focus in 1 area then the USSR Could surrounded them and defeat them, sort off like a pincel maneuver
