How do open the door in canalave city that says the door is tightly shut it appears impossible to open on Pokemon diamond?

You have to go to a Darkrai event. You'll get a certain item, then after you try the door again, you'll be able to go in. Some fairly interesting stuff happens and you end up battling the darkrai.
