Mostly it is not going to happen. Contestants are chosen from a huge number of applicants and are limited to 600 per year. Auditions are held and producers chose individuals that will enhance the show marketability. Another way to get a chance to audition is by submitting a picture & video through "Face of The Fan. Yet another way to get a chance to audition is to attend a Wheelmobile event

Last year over a million people requested the chance to audition for Wheel of Fortune. Fewer than 600 people were selected to appear on the show. For this reason, Wheel of Fortunestrongly discourages you from incurring any expenses whatsoever: airfare, hotel, loss of wages, baby-sitter, car rental, etc. in order to try out for the show. Please be aware that an appointment to audition does not guarantee you an appearance on the show. Remember that you are responsible for any expenses incurred for accommodations, travel to and from the audition site, and to and from the taping in Los Angeles (or another city.)

You are not eligible to be a contestant on Wheel of Fortune if you have appeared on any version of the show - including the daytime version (with Pat Sajak, Chuck Woolery, Bob Goen or other hosts), Teen Week (or any special week), or "Wheel 2000". You are not eligible to be a contestant on Wheel of Fortune if you have appeared on a game show/dating show/relationship show/reality show in the last year or three Game Shows/dating shows/relationship shows/reality shows in the last 10 years.
