How do you battle ash in Pokemon Pearl?

You just run into a trainer or a wild Pokemon and the battle screen will show up, press A on FIGHT and press a again with the move you want to use with your Pokemon. You keep doing this until you cause the opponent's Pokemon to faint. THAT'S IT!

If it is Mahogany Town, use fire,leaf or thunder type Pokemon but best pick is thunder because ice is super effective against leaf and some ice Pokemon can use water type attacks:) It is very important to remember that Wooper and quagsire are Part Ground.

They are immune to Electric attacks, but grass attacks are super effective against them.

If it is Cianwood City, Flying attacks, and especcially Psychic attacks. They are super effective against fighting type Pokemon. By the way, tour Togepi may hatch knowing Extrasensory, which is a storong Psychic Attack.

When I battled Chuck, I relied very heavily on my Togetic's psychic move, Extrasensory.

In fact, with frequent trips to the Pokemon Center, it was able to defeat the entire gym.

If it is Olivine City, Fire is super effective afainst Steel. They cannot be poisoned, in fact they are immune to poison attacks. Some of the Pokemon may be able to levitate, so ground attacks, may not hit them. Remember that Steelix is part Ground, so it should be vulnerable to ground and even water attacks, but it is also a steel type. Fire might be a good attack, if it was not for the ground typing.

Once you transfer one of the shiny legendary beasts from HGSS,Diamond,Pearl or Platinum, you go to lostlorn forest with one of the three in the front of your party. Then, you battle someone who has one of the three non-shiny legendary beasts.

It will have the one your beast is weak against. Suicune=Raikou. Raikou=Entei. Entei=Suicune. It's lv. 25 and female. Bring about as many as you need of any type of pokeball. Try using something not effective on dark types. Happy catching! PS. You must have gotten the national pokedex to do so. (To do this before beating the champion I suggest breeding and a whole lot of evolution depending how far into the game you are.)(I did this in diamond so I can get rotom and the pokeradar. 11 levels til' gabite evolves! XD)

you just get water or grass Pokemon and kill his rock Pokemon. I suggest a Budew or a Roselia with a Piplup or Prinplup. Or a Turtwig or Grotle with a Gyrados.
