How do you beat fantina in pokemon diamond?

Okay, first things first:

Fantina's Pokemon are...

Drifblim-Level 32

Gengar-Level 34

Mismagius- Level 36

ALL of Fantina's Pokemon are GHOST type Pokemon.

To beat her, I would recommend using a Dark, Ghost, or Bug type. Dark types are super effective against Ghost types, and other Ghost types and Bug types are good too. I would also suggest that all of your Pokemon that will be battling should be around level 34-40.

DO NOT:

-Use Normal type moves; they have NO effect

-Use Psychic, because they are only good against ghost Pokemon with dual types (out of Fantina's Pokemon, only Gengar is a dual type Pokemon)

-Fighting types also have no effect

-Rock/Ground types are extremely bad against ghost too

Well, as a ghost-type gym leader, I can name a few personal weakness that ghost-type Pokemon have. Ghost-type does a lot of effect on ghost type weirdly. Her Duskull is simple to beat and Haunter is slightly easier but the problem is Mismagius. Watch out, her Mismagius has Magical Leaf and it might damage your Water-types quite a lot. Do not use normal-type attacks; they won't do any effect on them. You can find a Misdreavus around Enterna City at night and give it a Dusk stone so it would be a Mismagius too and it might beat Fantina. If you can't find any other ghost-types, I would suggest using moves that are just plain effective. If you have lots of Pokemon, slightly higher than Lv.27, I think you would have a lucky chance.

Use dark types.......get a shinx, evolve it to luxio then into luxray. I think Luxray learns a powerful dark type move, Crunch, at level 42. But if you don't want to train him up to that level, he learns bite at level 16.....Bite is pretty good, too.

Fantina is a Ghost-type specialist so Mismagius, Gengar and Drifblim in Diamond and Pearl and Duskull, Mismagius and Haunter in Platinum. Duskull and Mismagius are Ghost-types so using Dark or Ghost-type Pokemon such as Gengar, Umbreon, Spiritomb, Sableye, Sneasel and Weavile would be able to beat it, Drifblim is a Ghost and Flying-type so using a Ghost-type, an Ice-type, a Dark-type or an Electric-type such as Haunter, Jynx, Cloyster, Dewgong, Sableye or Pikachu would be able to beat and Haunter and Gengar are both Ghost and Poison-types and because of which you could use Psychic, Dark and Ghost-types in order to beat them.
