How do you beat the fifth gym leader in Pokemon diamond?

Well I recomend that you start with Chimchar for her and Chimchar should be at least an Monferno Lv 32, and have a Starly at it's starapter or even at its Staravia stage. But if it is still a Staravia then it should be a fair lv, not like lv 18 but around the 30's, bring alot of super potions, oh and if you caught an Abra early in the game then it will come in handy if it has evolved to the Kadabra stage, maybe it might already be an Alakazam, if so then that's frickon fantastic, I recomend the three Pokemon I listed above, try to save Monferno or if it's an Infernape for Riolu's evolve stage I forget it's name , because it has a fighting/Steel attribute combination, she also has a Machop or a Machoke and a Meditite or Medicham, use kadabra or Alakaza and Staravia or Starapter for them. use a flying type like staravia ,starly or starapter. on lucario use a fire type poke mon lke monferno cause fire is super effective

if you have a staraptor or pre evolutions use them but make sure the levels are equal to the gym leaders Pokemon or higher or use another high leveled Pokemon
