That's a tricky one. I'll do it in steps, as there is no way of catching it in the game without using a Action Replay, ect. Remember, the Pokemon you want to transfer ( step 4&5 )MUST be in a Box ( Eg. BOX 1 / BOX 2. It will NOT work if the Pokemon is in your Party.
1) Have Pokémon FireRed.
2) Insert Pokemon FireRed in the DS's GBA slot, and put in Your Pokemon Diamond / Pearl / Platinum Ect in the DS Slot.
3) Turn On the DS and load Pokemon DIAMOND / PEARL / PLATINUM
4)Before you press ' A ' to go to the game, look down the list, and it should say Transfer / Emergrate Pokemon or something.
5) Click that.
6) Choose the Pokemon you want to ' Emergrate '.
7)Once you have done that, ( bear in mind I havn't done this in a long time and I am just remembering) Save it or something.
8) Turn OFF The DS.
9) Turn it back on and load Your Pokemon DS Game like normal.
10) Go to PalPark. ( Route: 221.) If you have not been there before, go to Sandgem Town and surf on the water. Bring a few Max Repels.
11) You will come to a small island where there is lots of grass at the beginning.
12) You might meet some trainers on the way to the Park.
13) If there is two people guarding the doors, your screwed. If there are two people guarding the doors, complete the Sinnoh Pokédex and get the National one from Prof.Rowan.
13a)Then, you need to go back to Pal Park, and go inside.
14) If there isn't, go inside Pal Park walk straight up to the man, straight up from the door to get in. Talk to him and he should let you in the 'Catching Show'.
15) DO YOUR STUFF!

∙ 12y agoIn Pokemon Pearl, Shiny Pokemon can be encountered and caught in all of the same ways that regular pokemon can be encountered or caught. When first meeting a pokemon, including meeting it in the wild and hatching it from its egg, each pokemon has a 1/8192 chance of being shiny.
