I have a Sanyo tv and a magnavox dvd, what are the codes?
Slave codes I think
Yes I would like to get the codes
Coz you burned the movie on CD rather than on DVD disc, then when you play it on your DVD player, you could only hear the sound but couldn't get the video. You need to change the CD to DVD, and reburn the movie to a blank DVD disc, then there will be no problem for you to watch it on DVD player. More details in followed link
Why even bother with regional codes in the first place? It's nothing but an annoyance. What I do, is an online search for something like `hitachi+dvd+hacks' and see if I can find the regional code shut-off commands which can be entered from your handheld remote control and completely disable them. Then the regional codes are no longer an issue. Apex DVD players have ton's of code hacks and so do many others. Just remember to be careful to check more than one site before trying them to be sure everyone's on the same page with the code numbers. Remember too, you could disable you player so you do this at your own risk and I'll bear no responsibility for your actions. (Although I think it's kinda hard to mess a machine up, I know it can be done.)
The codes for a JWIN DVD Player are 0390,0893,0895, and 1108. These codes are universal and should work with any remote that is compatible with your DVD player.
There are no 'regional' dialing codes in the UK. Each town (or group of small towns) has an individual dialing code.

It varies based on the brand and model of your DVD Player. Type your players brand and model number into google along with 'hack code' and you should be able to find codes to change the region code on your player.
No, they are two different regional format. Unless you have an all Region DVD Player which is not available anywhere. Your computer might be able to play these Japanese DVDs but you have to change the regional format of your computer to region 2. Setback is you cannot play Region 1 anymore on your computer.
