Generally they are all the same most cars. If there are visible screws on cover remove those to remove lens or if not pry gently and it should pop off. Once removed the bulb is simply held in place by a pair clips. For safety disconnect bat before removing and pop in a new one. Bulb no. should be in owners manual on bulb list.
Here is what someone recommended for a 02-
take a screw driver, there should be a small rectangular indent in the of the dome light. gently, with a screw driver (standard screw driver) pry it off. theres two bolts on each side near the outer bulbs. now take a 10mm socket wrench and take out the two bulbs, in doing so you remove the entire assembly. gently pull out the light bulbs, which consists of the bulb and contacts, the bulbs themselves wont come out on their own. there you have it

I would take it to someone like the dealer since it is a pain ( I did one this weekend) you have to have a screwdriver coming from the top and the bottom of the transaxle case and push in the throw out bearing while you push back on the transmission.

The filter is located behind the torque converter in the Lancer. Changing the filter is a long process and is recommended only if there is an issue with the transmission.
