If you're not born into a religion, which is usually the case, you may want to choose a religion which appeals best to you. e.g.
Christianity- You believe in God, Jesus, Forgiveness etc
Satanism- You believe in Self Empowerment and don't look to a God for faith but have faith in yourself
Shamanism and religions alike- Base their beliefs more in spirits and spirituality, trying to reach inner peace etc.
If you do your research, you'll probably find one that appeals the most to how you want to live your life and what you believe in the most
Generally Indian culture does not permit an Indian girl to marry a boy younger than her, nor a boy who is not of the same religion and country. But its up to the girl to decide; she can choose who she loves or she can choose to obey her family. "Gujrati" is not a religion hence the question of "gujrati religion" allowing a girl to marry a younger boy does not arise. Culturally, girls generally marry boys older than them & of same nationality by birth but there is no bar otherwise.
Mike Wolfe from American Pickers is known to be a Christian. However, he has not publicly disclosed his specific denomination or religious beliefs beyond that. Religion is a personal and private matter, and individuals may choose not to share their specific affiliations with the public.
Right to freedom of religion is that one is not bound by any kind of religion - he can follow any religion of his choice, even multiple religions, and change his religion whenever he wants, at his will. It also includes that one can popularize and make propaganda for his religion, unless and until it hurts another religion. Their is no religion which is main for the govt. and considered a national religion.

It depends on what type of person you are. Some people are raised as a member of a particular religion and never choose for themselves, whereas others may choose to become, for example, a Buddhist when their parents are christian. In other words, anyone can choose there religion at any age, assuming they have the capability to do so. As far as I know, most religions have their "coming of age" ceremonies at the age of twelve, so that is when it is generally recognized that you are mature enough to have made your own decision on which religion you choose.

A:Most people do not consciously choose a religion, simply following the religion of their parents. Some choose a religion because they have met someone who has preached a different religion that interested them. Some choose a new religion because they feel that the religion of their parents does not meet their spiritual needs. Occasionally, others change religions because of repugnance at the sexual or financial excesses of the clergy in the religion into which they were born. In poorer countries of Africa, many chose Christianity because educational opportunities were available to Christians but were not offered to followers of traditional religions. In recent decades, increasing numbers in Western countries are choosing no religion at all, recognising that God or gods do not really exist.
Beleive it or not there is a releigion born every minute. It depends on what YOU believe in to choose you religion.
