*Takes deep breath* Well, here goes nothing...

When you try to enter the first room, you are stopped by your Rival. Of course, he wants to challenge you. His team depends on which Pokemon you picked at the beginning.

If you picked Turtwig as your starter Pokemon:

1: Staraptor, Male, Lv.48, Normal-Flying

2: Floatzel, Male, Lv.49, Water

3: Heracross, Male, Lv.50, Bug-Fighting

4: Roserade, Male, Lv.49, Grass-Poison

5: Snorlax, Male, Lv.51, Normal

6: Infernape, Male, Lv.53 Fire-Fighting

If you picked Chimchar:

1: Same

2: Roserade, Male, Lv.49, Grass-Poison

3: Heracross, Male, Lv.50, Bug-Fighting

4: Rapidash, Male, Lv.49, Fire

5: Same

6: Empoleon, Male, Lv.53, Water-Steel

If you picked Piplup:

1: Same

2: Same if you picked Turtwig

3: Same if you picked Chimchar

4: Same " " " "

5: Same

6: Torterra, Male, Lv.53, Grass-Ground

When you have defeated your Rival, you proceed to the first room. The first of the Elite Four is Aaron, who uses mostly Bug type. This is his team. To make it easier for you, I have also listed what types are super-effective.

1: Dustox, Male, Lv.53, Bug-Poison, Use Fire, Flying, Psychic or Rock

2: Beautifly, Male, Lv.53, Bug-Flying, Use Rock, Fire, Electric, Ice or Flying

3: Vespiquen, Female, Lv.54, Use the same as Beautifly

4: Heracross, Male, Lv.54, Bug-Fighting, Use Flying, Fire or Psychic

5: Drapion, Male, Lv.57, Poison-Dark, Use Ground

The second Elite Four is Bertha, who mostly uses Ground type. Her team is:

1: Quagsire, Female, Lv.55, Water-Ground, Use Grass

2: Sudowoodo, Female, Lv.56, Rock, Use Grass, Water, Fighting, Ground or Steel

3: Golem, Female, Lv.56, Rock-Ground, Use anything for Sudowoodo or Ice

4: Whiscash, Female, Lv.55, Water-Ground, Use Grass

5: Hippowdon, Male, Lv.59, Ground, Use Grass, Water or Ice

Next up is Flint, a Fire type. His team is:

1: Rapidash, Male, Lv.58, Fire, Use Water, Ground or Rock

2: Steelix, Male, Lv.57, Steel-Ground, Use Fire, Water, Fighting, or Ground

3: Drifblim, Male, Lv.58, Ghost-Flying, Use Electric, Ice, Rock, Ghost or Dark

4: Lopunny, Male, Lv.57, Normal, Use Fighting

5: Infernape, Male, Lv.61, Fire-Fighting, Use Water, Ground, Flying or Psychic

The last of the Elite Four is Lucian, who mostly uses Psychic. His team is:

1: Mr. Mime, Male, Lv.59, Psychic, Use Bug, Ghost or Dark

2: Girafarig, Male, Lv.59 Normal-Psychic, Use Bug or Dark

3: Medicham, Male, Lv.60 Fighting-Psychic, Use Flying and Ghost

4: Alakazam, Male, Lv.60, Psychic, Use same as Mr. Mime

5: Bronzong, Lv.63, Steel-Psychic, Use Fire

While I'm at it, I might as well say Cynthia's team. But she doesn't use just one type. So make sure you're well prepared:

1: Spirittomb, Female, Lv.61, Ghost-Dark, No weakness

2: Roserade, Female, Lv.60, Grass-Poison, Use Fire, Ice, Flying or Psychic

3: Gastrodon, Female, Lv.60, Water-Ground, Use Grass

4: Lucario, Male, Lv.63, Steel-Fighting, Use Fire, Fighting or Ground

5: Milotic, Female, Lv.63, Water, Use Grass or Electric

6: Garchomp, Female, Lv.66, Use Ice or Dragon

And, that's pretty much it! In case you need help picking your team, I'll just say what Pokemon I brought to the Pokemon League. I won with this team on my very first try, feel free to adopt or adapt this team!

1: Empoleon, Male, Lv.72, Water-Steel

2: Staraptor, Male, Lv.70, Normal-Flying

3: Rapidash, Male, Lv.71, Fire

4: Roserade, Male, Lv.72, Grass-Poison

5: Luxray, Female, Lv.70, Electric

6: Dialga, Lv.72, Steel-Dragon

The first Elite Four, Aaron, uses mainly Bug types, 2 with Flying, 1 with Fighting, one with Steel, and a random Poison/Dark. I used a Magmar with Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Focus Blast, and Sunny Day. Sunny Day starts off to boost all your Fire moves, which are stab-ed and super effective against bug, even more so on bug-steel. for his poison/dark drapion, use focus blast if you are high enough level to survive a hit, as the move always hits second. if not, just try using the super stab-ed flamethrower.

The second Elite Four, Bertha, is mainly Ground types, with 2 ground/rocks, a pure ground, a water/ground, and a ground/flying (O.o). I used Tangrowth for the entire team, except the ground/flying gliscor, which was covered by a Pokemon i will mention later (1). Sunny day is used to boost solar beam, and the last 2 moves are power whip and giga drain. again, stab-ed, solarbeam has an additional boost, and 4x effective against water/ground wishcash and the 2 rock/grounds.

The third Elite Four, Flint, uses all fire types, with houndoom being fire/dark, infernape being fire/fighting, and the rest pure fire. i used milotic, but if you don't want to go through the trouble of finding and evolving a feebas, really any strong water types work here. water sport is almost overkill, but i decided to use it just to fill up space in the moveset, and it reduces all fire moves by half, something the AI stopped using. Surf and Hydro Pump are stab-ed and super effective across the board again, although in hindsight, hydro pump could have been switched out for brine, for those Pokemon that you can't OHKO (save your surf PP). Oh, and rest, which i didn't need to use.

The last Elite Four, Lucian, uses all psychic, with a bronzong (psychic/steel) and a gallade (psychic/fighting). Spriritomb is almost a no-brainer for this one. Its dark type makes it invulnerable (yes, invulnerable) to psychic attacks, and its ghost type gives stab (although only 1.25 instead of 1.5) to Shadow ball. Dark pulse and Sucker punch are also rape psychic types just like shadow ball, but don't use them on gallade, fighting resists dark. just shadow ball his ass. And if you had trouble killing any of them, nasty plot is a move that raises sp atk by two levels. (the reason why i have so many boosting and stat enhancing moves is because i tried the elite 4 at lvl 37-48. it worked.)

For the Champion, they have a spiritomb as well. you have two spots left in your party, and if you had empoleon, i suggest you use him. (that's what i had at least: Flash Cannon, Drill Peck, Earthquake, Surf.) other starters are ok, as their levels should be pretty high as well. just go for sheer power until spiritomb dies. togekiss is part flying, use glaceon, which also takes care of gliscor (1), remember? (Hail, Blizzard, Ice Beam, Mirror Coat) Lucario is a fighting steel, magmar works, or spiritomb might. The milotic (water) is killed by tangrowth, and burn Roserade with Magmar. For the Garchomp, the biggest and baddest, the stab-ed ice beam that is 4x effective from glaceon will do.
