How do you dig up treasure in the underground in Pokemon Pearl?

First, you need an explorer kit. Then, you need to keep doing the lessons the underground expert tells you to do in Eterna City.
on all the way to the right of eterna city, there is a house. go inside and an old fart should be there. if not, try a different house. the old dude will give you an Explorer Kit. go outside, use it, and voila! ur underground. tap the touch screen and sparklies should appear on the top screen. if a sparkly appears on the bottom, go to that wall and hit A. tap the hammer and start looking. light brown=1 tap. gray=2. rock=3.

When you get to Eterna City go to the "diggers"house and he would give you a digging kit. After you have got it, it will be in your key items. If you use it you will need to save first. You can meet friends in the tunnels, find and grow spheres, excavate fossils and get items from digging.
